He is also survived by Sharon’s 2 daughters, Cassandra Mallon and Kimbreley Mora as well as, many nieces and nephews.
He always had a camera with him to capture those special moments. She passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018 in The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 80.

Wendel never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. Wendel was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Calvert and brother-in-law, Jimmy Oatis, his nieces, Natasha Calvert and Paisley Ray Oatis, and his grandmother, Stella Stewart. Wendel is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 30 years, Tammy Marie Calvert; daughter, Emily Welsch; mother, Sarah Lee Calvert; brother, Steve Calvert and wife, Virginia; sisters, Tracy, Hettye and Samantha Calvert; mother-in-law, Sharon Livingston and father-in-law, Tim Geohagen; sister-in-law, Stacey Holtzclaw; brother-in-law, Tommy Livingston and wife, Rachael; and his best friend/brother, Robert Skaines. Ione was raised in South Houston, graduating from Pearland High School where she was their majorette and played the drums.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvie and Thelma Wilson; maternal grandparents, Preston and Vernice Lavergne; father, Dorman Wayne Lockey; and his daughter, Morgan Lockey.
